Artist Trading Cards
17 SepI haven’t been able to create as much as I would like these days
so to jump start the mojo I love to start with a little project.
An ATC is that perfect little project
and they can be created with just a few odds and ends.
My first ATC is a little something I put together
with some ephemera from a day at our local amusement park.
I cut the logo from the park map
and with a few chipboard items, strip of pattern paper, and jewels,
it became an instant reminder of a fun filled day.

Card pack
Party chipboard stickers
After the first one I couldn’t stop and decided to make this one about my husband.
My commitments have gotten really insane the last few months and
I love that my husband has pitched in next to me to become my sidekick.
This little ATC just expresses how I feel about my sweet hubby.

Products used:
Family Ties page kit
Chipboard icon stickers
These two ATC got the creative juices flowing and if it hadn’t been for Back to School night yesterday
I’m sure I would have just kept on going.
Next time your mojo has flown the coop try one of these little babies and I’m sure you’ll be right back at it!

It’s a little Fishy!
3 SepMy son is turning 6 on Sunday.
He’s my baby.
So we are planning the party, getting the decorations together, and making the cake.
I really love going the extra mile for birthdays.
And this gift tag by Designer Danielle is just one of those extras I adore.

I keep those handmade cards and tags on my bulletin board for months ( sometimes years)
as reminders of those special moments.
And this little cutie would be no exception.
Thanks for sharing Danielle,
Bree

FALL GIFT TAG
21 Aug“My inspiration for this tag was the beautiful metallics paper pad.
I am more of a soft pastel and print kinda girl
but this brown paper with the foil design
gave me an instant idea for what I wanted to do
and work out of my ‘normal’ box so to speak.
I wanted to keep it simple so the gold foil design stood out.
I started by covering a shipping tag and punching the hole for the ribbon.
I applied a small piece of lace on the bottom under the title
to add a special touch and added dimention.
I used cardstock from the Earthtones collection for the letters,
Sizzix Fun Serif, and for the flower.
The flower was made by punching 3 flowers,
all the same size, spraying them lightly with water
to give them some plyability so I could crunch them up.
I then gently opened them, put a brad in the center to hold the layers together,
then formed the flower to my liking. Wala!!!
Nice looking grunge flower made from scratch!
I then added a few pieces of ribbon,
added a fun ”S” shaped clip with a charm.
added a light dusting of Tattered Angels iridesent gold glimmer mist and you are done.

I hope you had fun creating today!
Have a great weekend.”

SWEET
23 JulHi all! Rita Barakat here with a project for Momenta!
What’s nice about an ATC (artist trading cards) is that it’s small! 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches!

Black Tie Super Paper Pack!
The letters came from the Black Tie collection
First I used a thick sheet of cardstock to back the piece. I cut out a butterfly from one paper. I used a little distress ink (OK three colors!) to make the gradient on the background. I inked the edges of the butterfly and glued on all my pieces. I had to have texture so I added a little Utee ultra thick embossing powder. I didn’t heat it all the way , just enough for it to stick and be a little bumpy! It looks like it’s wet but it’s not.
If you’re in a creative slump an ATC is a quick and easy distraction!
